diggers
Many of life’s tasks would be so much more difficult without the use of all the technology that has been invented to make the tasks at hand so much simpler. For instance I recently got invited over to a friend’s house for a BBQ, I also found out before arrival that there was an ulterior motive for the BBQ. Basically we would be digging footings for my friend’s new garage. Thankfully he had hired a couple of diggers to do most of the back breaking work. However, what I didn’t realise is what a terrible experience was waiting just around the corner for me.
Upon arrival and making the usual manly grunts of approval at the heavy machinery I quickly got informed that I wouldn’t be allowed to utilise the diggers. I was instead handed a shovel and told to dig and scrap out the remaining earth that the diggers couldn’t remove.

wedding photogrpahy courses, weddings
Quite a few mates of mine are getting married shortly and have had a serious nightmare getting an experienced photographer. Surely it cannot possibly be that complex; you’ll bring a posy camera along, you explain to people where to stand, you focus and you simply click. I would not consider that it was too difficult, but the fees a few of these folks are charging are unquestionably excessive. Not only do I presume I really could do it, but also I’d love to help my close friends out, therefore I have been looking at wedding photography courses.
Luckily, discovering good training for wedding photography is in no way as tough as it is to find a reasonable wedding photographer and also the course probably won’t actually cost me too much. The gear probably won’t be cheap but to tell the truth, I have been recently in search of an excuse to buy a brand new camera for a while at any rate, and also the income I will make – not to mention the fact that I’m able to help my friends out of a situation – might pay for it very quickly.

hypnotherapy London
When most people think of Hypnotherapy they think of people messing around on stage and performing tasks that they don’t necessarily feel in control of. However nothing could be further from the truth. Many people have had life changing and positive results from the use of Hypnotherapy. London boasts a number of the top hypnotic consultants and despite the fact that they work in London the price for treatment is affordable and available to all.
I think that hypnosis is something that you truly have to try at least once. People are all too quick to dismiss the powers of hypnosis and hypnotherapy. London based practitioner, Max Kirsten, has worked with a number of high profile individuals including Hollywood superstar, Ewan McGregor, who wanted to give up smoking. It’s nice to see someone like Ewan who has personally endorsed something like this, he seems like a trustworthy individual and speaks positively of his treatment to cure him of smoking.

caravan parks
I’ve heard some ridiculous things over the years, but something that I heard this week has to take the biscuit. Apparently some of the Welsh authorities want to put procedures in place that will see some of the caravan parks around the local vicinity hidden from sight in an attempt to attract an increased revenue of custom through the local community.
I know that caravan parks aren’t always the nicest things to look at when you are out for a weekend walk, but in all honesty there are a number of other unsightly objects that should be covered up from the coastline before they even think about forcing restrictions on the caravan parks.

boiler breakdown
Ok, it seems that I’m not exactly the luckiest of people to hang around at the moment, especially if you want to have hot water in your house. They should start calling me the anti plumber. I turned up at another friend’s house the other day only to find out they had suffered a boiler breakdown.
OK now bearing in mind that this person knows my other friend, who I had planned to go for a run with only to be thwarted by his boiler which had also broken. This time we were supposed to be heading out for a blast on the bikes and instead of being greeted with the usual happy smiley face of my friend dressed in his biking gear. He turned up at the door sweating and swearing profusely that I was a bit of a watery boiler curser.

Canon Multifunction Printer
Well that day would have been a lot more stressful without the assistance of the Canon multifunction printer. Getting ready for a weekend away and there is literally a hundred and one things to do, forms to fill, photocopies to make and things to print. I’m not sure whether I’m coming or going, but I’ll definitely be going on Thursday.
It is amazing how we all complain about how, slow or how unreliable technology is these days, but if someone were to come and take our printer, photocopier or scanner away we would be lost. I’ve personally cursed at the machine on hundreds of occasions when I’ve been to it and seen paper jam, new toner required or the classic printer error, which basically means turn me off and back on again. However, I was so grateful that the machine was in full health and working order on this day. By the time I had printed out my last document for my travels I could almost of given it a little hug, but that would have been incredibly weird and more than likely would have had everyone around the office talking.

health insurance
I could really never see the point in purchasing health insurance within the United Kingdom. We have a perfectly good health service and why would we need to make any changes to the system? Well that all came crashing down recently when someone I knew became rather ill and was forced to wait on one of the NHS’ waiting lists.
Everything you think goes crashing out of the window when someone you are close to has to wait for treatment when you know they could easily be seen much earlier by going through the private healthcare system. Some illnesses can be time sensitive. When it comes to the early diagnosis of illnesses like Cancer speed is of the essence. Unfortunately in some cases this doesn’t always happen on the National Health Service.

product design
It sometimes seems strange that everything is the world is advancing so fast, but the most technically advanced piece of machinery that we have doesn’t seem to be advancing as quickly as all of the rest. We can now get High definition and 3D televisions and mobile phones that will let us perform one million and one tasks, but computer product design seems to have fallen into stand still.
Well PC’s have anyway. Apple on the other hand continue to push the envelope of what we all know if physically possible with the technology that we have available today and their new iMac just emphasises that point. Apple have realised that what we all want is big, bright, vibrant displays and what we don’t want is big, bulky base stations.

boiler breakdown
Well it never rains but it pours especially when you walk upstairs and find that you have suffered a boiler breakdown. I was over at a friend’s house the other day as we were about to head out for a mid morning run. “I’ll just grab my trainers” he said as he ran up the stairs, this was then followed by a list of expletives as he cursed the boiler that had decided to leak water out of the cupboard and over the floor.
We then spent the next few hours trying to managed the situation, empty water out of the system and arrange for a plumber to come over and look at fixing it. So we never did get to go for our first training run of the year. Still I did manage to perform some exercise running back and forth with a bucket of water from one location to the next.
